NEi Software offers training in its portfolio of engineering analysis & FEA software, including NEi Nastran, Femap, Composites, Advanced Nonlinear, and other classes. You can take training classes at our facility in Westminster, California, make arrangements for custom training of your staff at your office location, or participate in our distance learning program. Please see the description of these options below. Instructor-led courses place emphasis on hands-on computer work to facilitate skills development. Professional Development Hours (PDH) are awarded based on course duration.

These classes are presented in an informal way with the emphasis towards maximizing the hands on experience for the student. Many sample model set up, analysis and results processing examples are presented live by the tutor for the class to learn from discuss and investigate. In addition examples are provided for the students to practice and gain confidence in the methods. These are increasingly challenging as the class proceeds. Many students work with the tutor to create sample analyses that are relevant to their particular industry segment or working practice. This is highly encouraged, as is bringing example problems to class.

These training classes provide engineers with the skills to be able to interpret the engineering problem, identify the required analysis process clearly, and use NEi Software tools to carry it out and finally to critically review the results.

Course Cancellation Policy

NEi Software reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course by notifying attendees at least ten (10) working days in advance of the course date. In the event of such a cancellation, NEi Software, Inc.'s liability is limited to a refund of the full course fee only. NEi Software, Inc. shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or liability resulting to students or their employers relating to that cancellation. Therefore, we recommend the purchase of refundable airline tickets only. NEi Software shall not be liable for any failure to teach scheduled courses due to causes or conditions beyond NEi Software, Inc.'s reasonable control.

Student Cancellation Policy

A thirty percent penalty of the full course fee will be incurred, if the cancellation occurs less than ten working days prior to the scheduled course date. We reserve the right to charge the full course fee if the cancellation occurs on the course date, or if you don’t attend. In addition to the 30% penalty, any advance costs or cancellation costs incurred by the Trainer or NEi Software will be charged to the client.

Distance Learning

NEi Software's distance learning program FEA On-the-Go combines a series of online sessions that demonstrate the software with off-line exercises that reinforce new skills. There is no need or requirement for participants to leave the office. Technical support instructors can be contacted at any time for help when questions arise.

• Refresher course to pick up on tips and techniques to get over the rough spots.
